Do you remember the day you got your real estate license and joined your brokerage office? In all likelihood, it was a happy day for you and it was the first step on the path for you to become independent, helping others pursue their dreams while simultaneously pursuing your own.

What’s interesting is the process that people use to choose the brokerage that they associate themselves with.

I know people use different criteria, such as the freedom to run your own business, training, leads, desk space, support, compensation, advertising, brand recognition and I have even heard people say they chose a certain brand because of the color of the blazers that their agents wear on commercials.

In the marketing and self-promotion side of real estate, there’s a tendency towards a lot of talk. But honestly ask yourself: Are you making good on the words you put out to the world? When you say “client service is my highest priority,” do you demonstrate it by regularly keeping in touch? Do you truly market a home, or do you find yourself merely “listing” homes? Do you make passing promises in conversation which quickly fade when the conversation away? We all fall short of our words from time to time.

A Droid Software App Perfect for Tampa FL Realtors and IRS Mileage Record Woes! I hate losing money to the IRS. And how is that? I under report my mileage because I hate even more keeping records of my mileage.

I have been using an Android ap that is so easy to use, I don’t even have to think about keeping a log. It keeps the log for me.

It is GPS based so you enter your beginning mileage, tag it, “showings – Jones”, and click Start. From your driveway and back, you now have a record of mielage with date and annotated.
